Security Basics Workshop

This workshop provides an introduction to IT security. The first day deals with the basics of IT security, such as the definition of attackers, encryption and IT security awareness measures. The second day focuses on the most relevant attack techniques on web applications. Experienced penetration testers will demonstrate the techniques and methods using practical examples.

Learning Objectives

The participants got to know the basic concepts of IT security. These include typical security awareness topics such as the correct storage of passwords and the detection of phishing. The most relevant attacks on web applications and methods to avoid security vulnerabilities are known to the participants.
